Visit to Homestead Park, York – arrival at 13:15

We shall be on a 1hr 30 minutes guided visit. Our main guide will be Dav whom is delighted to be welcoming us. It is likely the head gardener will join (Joules) if at all possible.
There is no charge for the visit due to it being affiliated to the Rowntree Trust.
However may I suggest a minimum of £7.00 per head for them to support another charity. I would really hope that can be achieved. Then a cheque can be forwarded to a favourite charity of theirs.
On site there is parking and conveniences.
The only places that might be challenging for us challenged folk are part of the wooded area and wandering through the meadow; although the path across the top of the meadow is accessible.
Ordinarily during the summer there is a “horse box” that serves tea/coffee etc.
Dav will confirm it’s on site status as soon as possible. If not there is a great café around the corner. There are also picnic tables.
